We were set apart by Bishop Dye Thursday, April 7. Tammy and Nich and Samson, Tyson, and Mari and Ella were there to support us. We were given the sweet spirit of our mission and know that the Lord is happy with our call and we will be blessed as we serve Him.
Elder Andersen brought the trailer up and set it up. Sister Andersen was still in Cedar City with Celeste Miller Excell helping her with her new baby Helen Shirley. Sister Andersen arrived in Heber late Tuesday night and we have worked all week to get our “new home” ready for us to enjoy.
There are 78 other couples here in the camping area and Elder and Sister Asay are our nearest neighbors. They have been so helpful and had us to dinner two nights.
We finally got the stove working, the leak under the sink fixed, the new cupboards are awesome and we now have a walk-in closet instead of bunk beds.
We enjoyed the parties in the evening and are getting to know the missionaries. This is going to be such a wonderful group to work with. We were interviewed by the HVC presidency Friday morning and feel so good about accepting any assignment.
Grandma Andersen is being cared for weekly by the aunts. We miss being with her but know this is where the Lord needs us.
